About the author
Joanna Wiley is a published children’s book author and chronic disease advocate. She was inspired to write children’s books that talk (and teach) about medical conditions after becoming a full-time caregiver for her youngest daughter, who was born medically complex.
Throughout the years of their medical journey, she saw a real need for books about kids with chronic illnesses.
When she’s not advocating for awareness or dreaming up stories, Joanna enjoys life in the country with her family and crazy farm animals.
